New Customer Service Centre opens
PNG Power Ltd opened its new Customer Service Business Centre on August 25.
The business centre, located at Ahuia Street in the Daltron Building Complex along the Spring Garden Road Gordons, is a one stop customer service outlet that handles over-the-counter customer queries, new connections, service calls, billing and revenue, inspections and regulatory services working closely with the lines section to improve turn-around time for customers.
Board Chairman William Kenjibi, CEO Tony Koiri and Director Professor Albert Mellam were present to officially cut the ribbon to the delight of PPL staff, invited guests, major clients and the media.
Mr Kenjibi said he hoped the new centre would boost effectiveness in delivering service to customers.
Mr Koiri said it was a huge achievement for PPL and sets the trend that PPL is moving forward with the rest of the businesses to provide customer-friendly facilities.
