EasiPay top-up now available on BSP Mobile Banking

PNG Power has gone into partnership with Bank South Pacific (BSP), Digicel PNG and Telikom PNG by introducing EasiPay top-up on BSP’s Mobile Banking services.
This new function will bring brings greater convenience to customers who can now top up their EasiPay meter directly from their bank accounts via SMS banking. This can be done at the luxury of their home, office or while on the go, 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
PNG Power CEO Tony Koiri together with Digicel PNG CEO John Mangos, Telikom’s Acting CEO Charles Litau and BSP CEO Ian Clyne launched the new service on Tuesday May 1 to at the BSP Headquarters in Port Moresby.
PNG Power CEO Tony Koiri said PPL is continually striving to deliver the utmost in providing greater accessibility, ease and convenience to consumers to its services.
“Our partnership with BSP is just one avenue by which we aim to provide greater accessibility and satisfaction to our customers,” he said.
Mr. Clyne said the new partnership was a perfect fit with the bank’s commitment in delivering convenient and innovative banking solutions for its customers.
“With this new service customers do not need to go to a physical location to purchase a voucher for their Easipay meter as they have the ability to do this from wherever they maybe directly from their bank accounts. There is no need for cash and no queues,” Mr. Clyne explained.
“BSP is committed to make banking easier and more convenient than ever before,” Mr. Clyne said.
“We will not rest on our laurels but continue to strive and work with like-minded organisations who put the customers first and work hard to deliver,” he added.
Digicel PNG’s CEO John Mangos said Digicel was proud to partner with BSP and PNG Power to make EasiPay top up more convenient and accessible to the local people through BSP’s Mobile Banking services.
Telikom PNG Acting CEO Charles Litau acknowledged BSP and PNG Power for making possible the EasiPay Top Up service as it is beneficial to the general public.
“I am urging our Citifon customers banking with BSP to utilize this convenient service when topping up your EasiPay meters with the SMS rate of 50 toea to make this transaction.
“It is worthwhile to note for our Citifon customers that in today’s modern world of innovative technology, your phone comes in very handy, as not only will you be using your phone to communicate, but you are conducting business and maintaining your household needs whilst on the move,” Mr Litau commented.
Existing BSP Mobile Banking customers can register meter numbers via the BSP customer service centre on 320 1212.
New customers can sign up for BSP Mobile Banking to access this convenient service.
