Power supply back to normal
Power supply into Port Moresby is back to normal after Rouna landowners agreed to switch back on the Rouna Hydro Stations.
Load shedding of electricity to Port Moresby residents was immediately suspended last night after the Government, PNG Power and Eda Ranu successfully negotiated with the landowners.
In the past three days, power has being supplied from the Kanudi and Moitaka power stations with load shedding covering for inadequate generation capacity.
With Rouna back online, consumers should now be receiving uninterrupted power supply as of last night.
