NEW LOOK CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE OPENED IN PORT MORESBY
PNG Power Ltd opened its new look Customer Service Centre at its National Office at Hohola in Port Moresby last Friday.
The opening marks the beginning of four (4) other new look Customer Service offices to be launched and these include the CHM Gordons office, the Mt Hagen Business Centre and the Lae Customer Service Centre.
Chief Executive Officer, Chris Bais said that the decision to have the service centre at the National Office is to make it a 'one stop shop' for all PPL clients.
The Customer Service Office was previously located at the Steamships Compound in Gordons and later shifted to the CHM Corporate Park building. However, PPL saw that there was a need to centralize its services as there was a lot of customers still turning up at the National Office for other services.
"We want to make the Customer Service Centre more convenient for our valued customers so they don’t have to go to different locations for assistance. It is very important that PPL continues to meet the demands of its growing customer base," said Mr Bais.
"Being part of the fast-changing business environment, we can no longer live with what we have."
He said that PPL seeks to not only look at “what we can do” but we must also look at “what we have” to make sure it reflects PPL’s current standing as the electricity service provider of the country.
PPL anticipates that with the opening of this new Customer Service Centre, it will improve its Customer Satisfaction and Corporate Image.
The new office delivers a modern and comfortable setting which reflects how valuable customers are to PPL.
